OHYIDI 062 Checking In
It’s Tuesday, August 19th, 2025 at 9:06 AM CST. – I sat down to write this check in, but then I got distracted when I opened up a package I got in the mail yesterday. It was a package full of some 3D print logos I bought on Ebay… one for Lego, G.I. Joe, and Hot Wheels. They are amazing. Maybe I’ll show them off in my upcoming zine. Speaking of my zine… I am considering to buy a new website specifically for housing my zine downloads. I think it would be nice if readers could have a place to go download the zine, and not be bombarded with a whole ton of pages and blog posts like on all of my other websites. It’s a thought. I don’t know if I’m going to do that or not, because at the same time, I’m trying to dwindle down the number of websites I’m managing. I could just end up hosting the zine here, or on my other website. I guess we’ll see in the end what I do. Anyway, I bought a new flash drive this morning for my photos and digital art. I already have these files stored on a SSD and another flash drive, but I need them stored as another copy on a separate flash drive for editing. I need to be able to number the files differently than what is on my current storage set up. I’m hoping that I’ll be able to start numbering some of the files tonight. So here it is at 9:52 AM CST, and it took me 44 minutes to write this, and now I gotta get some rest.

It’s time to shut my laptop off, and I need a new flash drive so that I can start organizing my photos and digital art for my zine. I gotta get an oil change this morning, so maybe I’ll try to get one after that. If I post anything else this morning to my blog, it will be done from my phone.

It’s Tuesday, August 19th, 2025 at 3:38 AM CST. – I guess I must have been tired and needed the rest. I didn’t get any blog work done at all last night. Instead, I slept… and I’m not even ashamed. I did not rest well yesterday morning. It’s not worth mentioning why. I still have a little time left this morning before I need to shut down my work station. Maybe I can catch up on some of my work if I hurry, but if I don’t… I’m not going to worry about it. I’ll just do it tonight.

It’s Sunday, August 17th, 2025 at 9:12 PM CST. – I feel like I’m dragging tonight, or maybe I’m just in a really chill mood and not pushing myself to feel any other way, but amazingly I am getting some work done. I’ve collected all blog content up to the 14th of this month for the zine. I’m also getting my di.fm music lists organized. I know I haven’t mentioned these yet, so a short explanation. Some time ago I subscribed to DI.FM, which is a music platform for edm music in almost any genre of that style you could want to listen to, or not listen to. I’ve been listening to some EDM music for years… since at least 2015, but it is still relatively new to me. I have a few favorite edm dj’s I like to listen to now and then. Getting into EDM is how I discovered DI.FM, and I like to collect the tracks I hear to make music lists. These lists are intended to group artists and songs by genre so that when I share them, people can use the lists to look up these artists and discover new music in the EDM world. Aside from that, I got caught up on some blog posts I needed to publish. Since it is a Sunday night, I’m going to take it easy for the rest of the night. I’ll continue working on my music lists, and maybe go follow some more accounts on X.
